Q Experiment 11 - Molecular Models • Points 25 • Submitting a file upload You can find a .pdf copy of the Experiment in the Laboratory Manual Module. This lab is a dry lab. It's a worksheet designed to give you practice with: • Drawing Lewis Dot Structures for Covalent Molecules • Drawing molecules with 2+ central atoms • Drawing polyatomic ions • VSEPR Geometry • Polar Covalent Bonds • Drawing Polar Covalent molecules • Identification of Intermolecular Forces There's no Data Table, and no Postlab Questions. Just answer the questions on the worksheet. This is the longest lab of the semester - it was meant to be completed over a full week in the laboratory. Today - July 8 - you should work on Part 1 of the experiment. The Notes attached below give you a head start with the structures of a few tricky molecules to draw. CHEM 305 - White Board Notes - Experiment 11 Part 1 Actions You'll have one more day on July 14 to complete any work you haven't finished before it's due. I'll have additional information about Parts 2 and 3 of this experiment, and information about Part 4 in the Module. Fill out the lab pages and save your work as a .pdf document, and submit your work using the Submit Assignment button at the top of the page.
